Valerie Santiago, PTA
“Growing up, I knew I wanted to be in a profession that allowed me to make a difference in people’s lives. During my junior year of high school, I was in a car accident with my older brother. He suffered a head injury and lost his ability to walk. After completing physical therapy, he is now able to walk and function 100%. Watching his amazing journey and progression through physical therapy ultimately led me to become a Physical Therapist Assistant.”
her message for potential patients: “Physical therapy has so much to offer, including strengthening your muscles and balance to ultimately increase your quality of movement. Then we can restore pain-free function and help you achieve your goals outside of physical therapy. I love helping patients get back to ‘normal life’ activities, like riding a bike or playing with grandkids.”
